Yes Rose 6-30 south west wind
  3. This is my first season flying with the MNFC. They were not the only ones to liberate on that day and not the only ones to experience a bad race. If so many had bad races how can the MNFC be blamed for liberating the birds when so many others did Are they all wrong or was it bad luck. We went from Portsmouth and had a disaster yet went from Picauville same day and had a good one. Ive heared reports of bad weather , poor decisions etc but how can one organisation get a great race, hard but good, and another get a bad one.
  4. Thanks Guys
  5. Im probably a little late now hens will be back about 4-00pm (hopefully)
  6. Hi I decided to pair the hens to race to the nest. I repaired them after last inland race and never sent them to the first channel race. They had been sitting four to five days when sent on Thursday. MY problem is as this week has been a holdover the cocks have left the nest. What action should I take. I had nowhere to place the eggs whilst the hens went this week and thought the cocks would sit John

    GREEDY

This has happened in our club which was once was the biggest club in the fed now only lucky if 7 send. Three flyers clock in as many as they can as its getting like a competition who can clock the most. Then they wonder why the membership is falling. You have to give other fanciers a chance. Its alright saying well they need to try harder, but people with little money time or the working man cant compete most of the time, but that one card now and again will keep them in the game a little longer. In a sport which is declining we need a little common sense. If you only clock two why say "i had six more to clock" There is no need. How the hell in times like these do you encourage new starters, when they get battered by the seasoned fancier week in week out. Its demoralising John

It seems people had a bad race with the MNFC. I was fairly lucky by all acounts having 5 out of the 7 by 6-00pm flying some 333 miles and one next morning Im really chuffed with the performance this weekend i was doing 1012 ypm with my second bird 5 minutes behind the first John
  10. Guys Looking at how many people all over the country experienced bad races it cannot be attributed to bad race advisors maybe one or two yes, but there must have been something in the air to cause all this. The liverpool guys are very experienced I fail to attribute blame to them

  12. Maybe it had to do with something on your side of the country. Sent 7 to the MNFC national had 5 back yesterday in reasonable time and one this morning with one missing.
