  8. It is with great sadness I report the passing this afternoon of George Connon of Ryhill, Wakefield. I was fortunate enough to be a friend of George's for over 20 years, he was a true gentleman and a top fancier. My thoughts are with his daughters at this sad time. Paul.
  9. Here is a good book for sale on e-bay and cheap (for now anyway) . http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dave-Allen-Widowhood-Year-/260928953706?pt=UK_Collectables_AnimalCollectables_SM&hash=item3cc093dd6a
  10. Biggest disadvantage for me is that the early youngsters get murdered by sparrowhawks in February/March when fluttering about the roof. Even if it does not kill them it scatters them and they end up all over the place before they know how to go in and out. Paired up 10th of January 3 years ago in my first season back in the sport and won't do it again for that one reason.
  11. Well done Ian, great job again. Paul.

  17. Hi Andy, they said it would turn wintery at the weekend. A huge change from yesterday as it was really mild. We got absolutely soaked out with the dog this morning. It started as really heavy rain, turned to sleet and then snow.
