Robert Cormack,winchburgh
Blue Chequer Pied replied to Rooster J. Cogburn's topic in Articles & Loft Reports
Well done Lewis another fancier that had hero status for me as I was growing up. I always remember that Sandy Mitch held him in great regard and that always carried weight with me. The thing that always impressed me about Bob Cormack was the amount of other fanciers that won with his birds, just like the great Dennis Dall, true greats. -

15 would be my guess. -
Great to see you as always Alex. The important thing for me is being able to offer the members quality products and to utilise our transporter where possible to the benefit of all members as getting stuff delivered up here can be a real issue at times. Wishing you all the success in the future with your venture and I am sure we will continue to work together for the benefit of the members of the North of Scotland Federation. Paul.

I would like to take this opportunity to let everyone know how delighted myself and the rest of the Fed officials are regarding the success of our show yesterday. From a personal point of view the most pleasing aspect of the day was the atmosphere and the level of good will and enjoyment that was carried through from setting up the show right until the end of the day. Through a lots of hard work by a lot of dedicated members the show was a huge success and raised around £1200 for Fed funds. This gets 2014 off to a flyinging start as this will be a big year for our organisation which will see us aquire a new transporter. I would like to thank Sandy Milne our Show Manager for pulling everything together at short notice. Sandy you did a great job in a thoroughly proffesional manner and we could not have pulled it off without you. Thanks also to the members of the Inverurie club for turing up in large numbers to help set up the show and take everything down at the end. I counted 9 of you in the morning and again your help was invaluable. Special thanks to Mrs Adamson for selling the raffles which raised £195. Our judges travelled out from Aberdeen and it was good to see some old friends and I thank each and everyone of them for their efforts and kind donations of birds for the auction. Thanks also to 'crafty fifer' Alex Wight for again making the journey North to join us and to Jim Hannah for coming and photographing all the birds that were brought along. A huge well done to all the winners in particular Gavin Russel (vagin) on winning Best in Show. Last and by no means least a huge thanks to our members who turned out in great numbers whether showing birds or not to support our fed. The youngbird sale went better than expected raising £1000 through members donations of birds and the same members digging deep and bidding on the lots on offer. Thankyou all. As president of the Fed I can whole-heartedly say that I am delighted with the team of people I have around me in the officials and they make my job easy. Well done guys. Paul.

Thanks, Davie has done a great job racing him a lot better than I would have. The Willie Wilson doo's flew well up here and were a great type.
-
I did get confirmation they were on their way home and all were accounted for

Was that a Willie Wilson doo? Storm Queen? For the last one ?
