I got a Black cock from my good friend Alan Marshall of Cudworth Barnsley last year and he has feathers right to his toes, he looks like a cross Westie. He is bred from birds of Jimmy Gibbons from the North Eastand he has bred my best youngbird this year (only slightly feathered legs). When I was young I bought a pair of Karel Hermans from Mr Fletcher of Normanton and the hen was the most beautiful Blue Pied hen I have ever seen. She always won prizes in the shows for me and she had feathered legs. Paul.
