Hi Walter its only good trainer 4 french races if you get them bak for main event, but as some agree that the returns can be poor, takin birds away from Main events, so would do away with extra races or just down grade inland ones to say ( hot spot races lik one loft races ) without the Nat status, so fanciers are nt loseing an option to race, know we can hav hard races from 60mile to 600 mile, but jmo dont think 300mile is enough of test of stamina for National, i aways thout up to 300mile sprinters, now that would be joke, if somone said to me this is my liecester or newbury winner, i would not think it was National winner, but if they handed me winner from Saintes Sartilly Noirt i would automatic think a big race winner, even tho our Fed used to still does to one in program, Another way to look at it, i would need good distants birds to conpete against middle distant winners or inland middle distant to beat Sprinters, jmo Ronnie

Horse Grand Nat is ran at 4 1/2 miles beyond normal 3 1/2 miles races, thats while Called Grand Nat, not many races at that distance , but most clubs hav 300m races in thier program, so do you think 300m justifys Nat statis, our yb program to nth allerton is 240m, but if we went to yb Nat think it goes up to 380miles whitch mit be more than the winner of 1st inland ob nat, but understand cost side of it, an 500milers few an far, just a thout, ATB 2013 Everybody,

use to wean Squekers into Race crate on yb section floor 4-5 days, dont know if it helps, but they soon get use to being with each other in confine space early, helps traing starts,dont panic, Health deffently problem, but when got so many birds in transporter (confined space) varyin tempertures,stress, birds may not show signs at basketing, we,r taking so many birds out there comfort zones ( loft ) enviroments and putting them all in transporter, all lofts have there own balance of infections/ whatever, fine until you upset it, jmo
