A few years ago my mother took over as of a small club, the sec had died, having been sec for nearly 70 years! The club had nothing apart from the essentials and the old secs twizzle stick for working out the results. I decided to organise a sale for the club so they could buy a calculator etc, I wrote to all the studs advertiseing in the BHW and RP over a period of a month and only 1 even bothered to reply! That to me summed up where the sport was heading 20yrs ago! These studs may one day realise who puts money in there pockets!

It doesn't matter what you do there are always a small amount of members within every club who do nothing to support it. They never donate to sales, don't attent events, never give raffle prizes etc etc, its sad but every club has them!

it can distract them but you need to keep moveing the decoys or they just get used to them!

carriers will still race but unless you cure the problem either by culling or correct treatment then it will be passed through generations and will take over the loft. Weak youngsters will never be any good, champions are produced in the nest and not afterwards!

What was the sickness? If it was para T then the youngsters could be carriers and are continueing to pass it on!
