On another site i get 20+ spammers a day and ban there ip's, surely if a member was banned by his ip he wouldn't be able to rejoin. I know ip's can be changed but most of the culprits don't have enough marbles to know how!

Exactly, no point treating for it to reoccur when treatment finished but as you have said where the birds came from and there have been many reports of problems with there youngsters i would get dropping and swabs taken as there is most likely other problems.

i don't know what the answer is but maybe there should be a second authorisation level to enter the members area and post/read. Whatever it is something needs to be done as the forum is being left wide open!

to me 43 miles isn't far enough, the birds will still be batched and will get dragged to the area sending most. If they've got anything about them they'll turn up and be better birds for it.

Before i've brought any house or even made an offer i've always popped into the neighbours and told them my intentions and have never had a complaint. How can they complain afterwards when they have agreed in the first place! Then i always get the solicitors to check the deeds to make sure there won't be any further problems down the road.

If you got them from a shop in Birmingham called someting like "Beaks & Claws" and they were adults they were probably strays they caught from somewhere as they are stray catchers and they won't know where the birds came from! You will be better off starting with some youngbirds/baby's that will settle to your loft easily.
