At all pigeon auction sales, on completion of a sale, signed transfer forms in the Association’s standard form shall be furnished to the purchaser in respect of every bird purchased by him. Such forms shall be signed by the registered owner, or in the event of the registered owner being deceased, by his executors, or in the case of a partnership by all partners or their representatives. The name and address of the vendor shall be shown in all auction advertisements. Any bird sold subject to a minimum reserve price shall have that reserve price printed in its respective lot number details in any advertisement of the auction. The organiser of any pigeon auction sale for the benefit of a charity or charities must publish an income and expenditure account certified by the organiser to be accurate and complete in two newspapers devoted to the sport of racing or showing homing pigeons and circulating nationally in the United Kingdom.

Kirklands are distance birds. If it is a cockbird and you want to breed yellows then pair it to a red hen.

Spen, have you joined a local club or been to a local club? If not, find out where your nearest club is, go and meet some local fanciers, they will help and advise you on loft set up etc and will prob gift you some birds to get you started. You will also get to know what the competition is, what are the best breed of bird flying into your area etc etc.

Just starting back and the 10 having been raced i'd stop them for next year and push on with the 14 later ones to get them some experience. Not sure if you bred the yb's yourself or have obtained them from other people? If you've obtained them then you will need something for breeding although i know where IB is coming from but at the moment you may need to build your team up and in a couple of years when you know what you've got you can worry more about being selective with your breeding. report it again to the belg union and tell them it hasn't been claimed! When you get the ring card and it is legaly yours you can give it away, sell it, do what ever you want. Alternatively give it a 50m single up and see if it comes back!

Most people into dogs or animals in a serious way know what they are like and won't support them! There are many private rescue centres who do need support and do have the interests of the animals at heart. I often move dogs around the south of England for rescue centres at no cost because the people involved use every last penny of there own money to help the animals and not line there pockets!
