a great post strapper,, "all members are responsible for their own posts" i,e. p,b rules,, any guests looking in, could be anyone, some taking an interest in pigeons, what they see , could either dis-courage them, or encourage them, in the hobby of general pigeon keeping/racing/showing of pigeons etc. if the p,b members want the guests to see the pigeons and "pigeon basics" in good light, in my opinion, should post accordingly, off course there will be heated discussions at times, but as long as these threads are constructive , can only be good , as all are entitled to their opinion, within our p,b rules , and i believe we should respect our different opinions, without resorting to these "slagging matches" as strapper says. there are far to many genuine members and interesting points on these marvelous /amazing birds than having to resort to , this so-called "slagging" by the minority,,only my opinion but as our rules say,, "each member is responsible for their own posts" maybe there are times, when we should pay more attention to this,,,and be a little more responsible and a message to the guests,,,join ;D ;D

i quite agree chris,, especially with yb,s ,, their most certainly not all bad birds if my memory serves me right,,,a scottish national race was won by a stray, many years ago,, jock watson kirkliston

why dont the rspb put web cams up for these birds at their nesting sites , theres many" twichers " and bird lovers, and other interested parties, would love to follow their" progress" in breeding etc it would make a change from all these peregrine web cams , seeing racing pigeons being eaten, ,,,only their registered rings left,,,,,,,,,,,,that never get returned to their owners , who bought and paid for them :-/ :-/ :-/

very sad to see a 12 year old boy crying , at seeing his fav. bird arrive home from a race covered in blood , badly injured by a hawk,, >,,

anyone any info on the rspb dealings with this eagle owl,,, actually theres a pair ,,,,,,,,,and been there since last year!!! i wonder if the rspb would remember,[PROBABLY NOT > ],,,that these birds have the same protection as any other b o p ,

yes , would agree with this post,,, although sounding odd, there are times when the winner is not always the best bird

with due respect skull , i wouldnt agree with any of the above,

;D ;D ;D they love it,,,and will bath readily lol,, in my opinion theres rain,,and rain lol a nice shower will do them the world of good [after all its natural to them],, but would call a limit in gale force, all day rain storms mainly for myself lol
