my thoughts are ,,try it, i think were all scared of something different , but as for this idea , why not give it a try [its the only way to find out ] ive often advocated a race in to scotland,,,,,from denmark , fairest racepoint for 500 miles [allthough 450 miles of it is water ] same distance to aberdeen and eyemouth ,, the west fanciers would get their exact milage overfly from the east ,,,but could a bird do this ,,, seemingly impossible task ,,yes i had one reported from denmark , then it homed on the day [single up] liberated at 5am arriving at 9,30 , beautifull clear blue sky ,e.s.e wind all the way,,,,,also a bird flown from kiem [spelt wrong ] in belgium on the day , allthough shorter than germany , would have had to fly over as much water ,,so things can be tried ??
