yes wee cunny ,, in my opinion , weavel holed beans can be heated up to kill weavels by seller but leaves the beans with no goodness in ,, or if the wevels are still in the beans , the hole they make in the bean can be host for other nasties far better with a clean bean [like me , not got a bean ;D]

hemp seed must be used sparingly this seed heats the blood and can bring on false condition,,,,, the cold pressed oil is easier absorbed in the body and does help during the moult, one teaspoon in full in a tub of feeding is less hemp than in conditioner

is this racing pigeons or fancy pigeons??? i seem to remember a thread b4 on this,,,,, respiratory [one eyed cold] if left, can cause this , but as you say , the birds looked healthy , so would advice a visit to a good avian vet

try a four mile release after cocks see the hens ,,,,,back to the hens [or vica versa] just b4 basketing

any bent flights can be straightened by holding the flight over the steam from a boiling kettle ,, this will straighten it imediately, birds obviusly must be clean ,,and had a perfect moult etc , im sure there are many tips to be had from the successfull keen showmen

my thoughts are ,,try it, i think were all scared of something different , but as for this idea , why not give it a try [its the only way to find out ] ive often advocated a race in to scotland,,,,,from denmark , fairest racepoint for 500 miles [allthough 450 miles of it is water ] same distance to aberdeen and eyemouth ,, the west fanciers would get their exact milage overfly from the east ,,,but could a bird do this ,,, seemingly impossible task ,,yes i had one reported from denmark , then it homed on the day [single up] liberated at 5am arriving at 9,30 , beautifull clear blue sky ,e.s.e wind all the way,,,,,also a bird flown from kiem [spelt wrong ] in belgium on the day , allthough shorter than germany , would have had to fly over as much water ,,so things can be tried ?? see if anyone can find out about ,old captain hopas and his north sea dordins ;D [he was my mate ;D ;D ;D]

i agree with this posting hogni,, very good flying in denmark as well but with a one month old son, i would make this the main priority im quite sure if your willing to work and have the" drive" youll make it in any of these places , so my only advice would be is do your homework well, as this is a big change, but wherever you go, i certainly wish you the best of luck

;D ;D ;D the thing is ive just got these birds and with the change of lofts etc, i got them with 5 flights to moult ,, but their going well through now,, with the seeds and oils etc [i think theve been kept on the darkness pretty late ] but things looking good now [ thought it would make an interesting topic ,as there will be fanciers in the same boat as me ] thanks both wiley and yourself
