im afraid a poll would be unfair, as there are members [which the webmaster knows about] with double , even triple names [even in some circumstances more] so a vote per address[if the members would give their address?? would may be more in line] ,,,,but, the webmaster is the boss [polls can be" rigged "by unscrupulous individuals ,as prooved in the past ] these are things we are trying to stop

List of Moderators at this point may i remind members to keep the site as it allways has been "the best pigeon site" and refrain from backlashing, and downing other members, and so called snidey remarks ,, this would save the moderators a lot of work [which they do free] please read the code of conduct before posting

im proud to say i gave pigeons away free to many fanciers ,,one namely mr mrs philips of truro cornwall ,,,,,,free ,,the son bred off my pigeon won the english nantes national ,incuding motor car [i then sent him many of the same family ,,free]

how many fanciers go to blackpool,,DEFINATELY not buying any this time ;D ;D then you see them with a box ;D ;D ;D,,,,,,,fanciers cant resist it [done it myself ;D],,, and if it makes them happy good on them ,,, the price of a pigeon is worth to the buyer what he pays for it ;D ;D ;D at least for a while you can dream youve got the best breeder etc ,, ;D true ,,and for the inexperienced , makes them keener ,look after them better ,and feel better ,,,,,,,,but then there comes a time ;D ;D ;D you learn ,,but youve paid for your learning ;D ;D ;D

yes i do agree max, problem being,,, management -pigeon,,,,,,,pigeon-management , i think both are needed ,, but the management will tell you whether you have a good one or not,,, will explain by example ,, 16 birds bought from top class fancier ,between two of us , i got the nestmatesof the ones he had ,,,he done nothing , blamed mr ,,x for sending rubbish birds , yet i formed a team that "cleared the boards" all were the same price ??

there was a picture in the" edinburgh evening news a few years ago" a hen sparrow hawk eating a pigeon alive [in front of kids families etc] photo taken in cockburn street , right in the city centre ,, just wish i could get hold of that pic. maybe someone able to help?

JUST WATCHED PERIGRINE KILLING DUCK,,,, SINGLED IT OUT ,EXHAUSTED IT , THEN KILLED IT QUITE EASY ,, THE OTHER DUCKS PANICKED , SCATTERED , SOME HID UNDERWATER OFF COURSE THE RSPB SAY THEIR NOT ON THEIR MENU??

couldnt agree more ,,beats me why fanciers keep pigeons in all winter ,from the last race ,,,the moult part is the most important part of the year, so they need the best including seeds to ensure a good new jacket for next season the second part cannot see nowt wrong with that , they get vits from the sun [what little we get] minerals they pick up, that we cant give them, flights grow in an aerodynamic [big word from me ;D] shape ..look at the prisoners flights against a bird flying free , def shaped better,,, let them have a fly and use all their organs properly in gods fresh air[ ; free ;D]even a shower of rain will do them good [why do they dive in the bath when its raining and not dive in the loft] off course there are exceptions i,e, fog , gales etc ,,but if im out ,,their out ;D ;D ;D
