Gareth you are spot on mate,over paying so called stars to come to Scotland to retire and keeping the old men out of retirment will just about see the game finished. Whatever the reasoning behind this, it is indeed a sad day that members feel their only option is to disband the club. I have argued as many will know that much of what we are seeing is the product of weak leadership from the top down. Feds should be define, as we difine where we stay, my post code is in North lanarkshire thus i should fall within, and be a member of North Lanarkshire Fed.Many Feds are the product of breakaways and new feds with no real geographical identity,indeed an example of this would be the Midland fed. Midland of where???? This Midland Fed is the Airdrie Fed,and the way things are going this is exactly what it will be called within the next 10 years.If there enough member left to do so. The best way would be for all of Scotland to unite, but unfortunatly from what I have read and heard this is unlikely to ever happen. Phil Phile, this is the reason we are not an independent nation today,our failure to unite,has indeed held us back for to many generations. However the state we are in today (uk) will surley mean at the next oppertunity,we will take that step.Sure you guys down south will manage just fine without us. As for the national clubs in Scotland,the creation of an alternative national club has been good for our sport.Now its time to get round the table and sort it out so they can fly as one. Happy days

Those that run our sport, with in the different unions,in the Nationals, Feds, and Clubs,will dictate how suceessful or other wise, we are in taking our sport into the future. If you have faith in these people then you may be on the side of the fence that the future looks bright. If on the other hand like me you feel there contrabution, and new enitiatives in order to encourage new fanciers into iour sport, has been woefull, to none existant, then you may indeed be a doom and gloom punter like me. There can be little doubt one loft racing will be a big part of our future, like it or not.In addition to this, the site we are on will go a long way to revive our fortunes,this to will play a part in how we go forward,a very importent part One other point i would say, is i think we in our time will be just fine, however it is to the future genrations that i fear for,and that is sad.

Over recent night i have been getting a number of slugs in my loft, They are entering throught the white louver vents no bigger than a quarter inch gap. They are gone in the morning. Any one know how to stop this Thanks

Just back from work took me ages to catch up,I to got one in tonight around 1900hrs, about 20 miles or so west of lib site. Looks as if it' been flying for hours, poor begger. Noted the point earlier that these birds are still perticipating in a race.However to release tomorrow, would only inflict further hardship on this pigeon. Sure after things have unfolded some arrangements can be made to return these birds collectavly.
