Got my lofts mostly painted at the weekend till it rained. Removed one sputnik as i dont and will not use it. I,ve still to remove another one for the same reason. Superb effort from all the fund raisers, all the hard work has really been worth it. I was fortunate enough to bid for 2 of the pigeons and i,m well chuffed to have won them. Think your missing the point davey, what i was asking simply, does it do our young birds any good or any damage, for the future Just because we have a yb national doesnt mean you have to go. I wanted views from both sides, and the only people with answers is experienced doo men who either go because it does them good, or the ones that dont go as they see it being detrimental to the pigeon for the future.

Just been informed that i,ve been successful in my 2 bids for pigeons for this worthwhile cause. I bought eggy jamiesons, which is the type of pigeon i want in my loft. So fingers crossed its the start of something new for me, regards alex.
