  1. Lochgelly had 11 members sent 121 to Morpeth with Fife Fed, good luck to all.
  2. I,ve just been informed by a fancier in ayrshire, that the pigeon he gave me (with his ring on) is back with him due to being put in the stray basket. Brilliant effort, but the doo was wing stamped, so why didnt i get a phone call to tell me where it was. I have been to Edinburgh twice and leven once to pick up young birds after i had a horrendous training toss. The decent thing would have been to phone me and see if i could come and collect it, however i now have the hassle of arranging spds to pick it up, at more cost than it should have been. Its the first thing i check for when getting a stray, its not hard. So to the person that has done this i half thank you for returning the doo, but it would have been nice to be returning the correct owner. Rant over.................
  3. They were doing fine up to NEAR kennoway Brian, they were probably nearer the star and they seem to be held up there for a while for whatever reason. Just trying to help the boys have an understanding of what went on after the lib. Being from Kennoway i do know where it is, cheers mucker.

  12. I think for this to be advertised everywhere, and prove wrong the media would be blamed for giving them false hope, after all they are in enough shiite as it is.
  13. Just into my loft with my young birds, tried phoning the number on the ring, but no answer. Is it possible that the member is on here??? the phone number was stuck onto the ets ring, and there is a member that does do this but cant remember where i seen this post. Being fed and watered as we speak, a wee bit down but not too bad. Thank you alex in lochgelly

Looking back on the old bird season, that you thought was starting to crumble, and up pops the golden goods. 1st North section then this performance which will be well the icing on the cake. The drinks are on you now, move over, a new generation is born in the north along with chris donaldson and robbie higgins, a huge well done to you all. Regards alex

  21. No room for beginners in this sport eh. What's wrong with letting novices/new start's pay for up 10 races one at a time. then after that pay the full amount? i didnt have pigeons jumping out their skin, i just wanted to test the birds at this distance, so that i could build on them for the future. Just feel that if your not experienced in this sport, then your left behind with little or no help. But hey, i wont make the same mistake again. Regards alex
  22. our fed isnt racing this week mucker, we have only one more old bird race from cleremont where we are with the national.
  23. Thanks Derek, you dont know if you dont know eh lol. Never was good at doing my homework i was looking forward to it as well, but as you say there's next year, and off course the young bird national. As long as i make my payment 2 weeks before hand
  24. Lesson learned, i just thought it was for them all, but now i know. Still not got an answer as to why
  25. Just back from Kirkcaldy marking station, absolutely gutted. Was intending to send 4 pigeons to this only my 2nd race over the water. I am not a full member of the snfc due to shortage of pigeons, therefore i thought i would be paying the £10 plus birdage. Not the case, i was asked to pay the full membership fee plus the £6 for being after April totalling £31 plus my £12 birdage, £43 for 4 pigeons without pools. Needless to say i returned home with my 4 pigeons, and totally deflated. Rules are rules, and i,ve just learned one of them tonight. Being a novice in the sport especially national racing, its proving to be very difficult all round. At least the birds are there for next year i suppose. The question i ask is.......why are you allowed to pay the £10 for all inland nationals and not over the water? Regards alex.
