If we can get an average of 1100 - 1200 ypm up here in the west of Scotland then we have had a very good years racing. I know folk in the north east of England and they fly in the UNC and their average velocity is usually in the 1400s. Easy flying,corridor flying but still very competitive. Sorry, off the subject a little. Scottish distance racing was dominated by mostly hens in years gone by, but now it has started to even itself out, both cocks and hens are scoring equally.
