My bird delivered by Flying Couriers tonight.Got a phone call from Debbie half an hour before Wayne appeared with bird.Delighted with service and will use them again. Debbie offered me a free delivery because of a mix up last week but I would never accept this as they were truthful and above board with me.Best of luck to Flying Couriers, this company keeps their customers informed and doesnt keep them waiting day after day with false promises. That's fascinating Chrissy, I thought pigeon soft food was impossible to replicate and you cannot make a good job of rearing a yb unless it was onto hard food ( 8 days ). Thats very interesting to know.Did you race this yb Chrissy ?

If we can get an average of 1100 - 1200 ypm up here in the west of Scotland then we have had a very good years racing. I know folk in the north east of England and they fly in the UNC and their average velocity is usually in the 1400s. Easy flying,corridor flying but still very competitive. Sorry, off the subject a little. Scottish distance racing was dominated by mostly hens in years gone by, but now it has started to even itself out, both cocks and hens are scoring equally.

Hate to admit it but our clockman can turn out not a bad looking bird. He deserved winning B.I.S with a lovely ch.cock . Judging the show was thirsty work and we enjoyed a few refreshments while there. Big Heeps had to stop on the way home to let off some steam at the side of the road ;) It gave the passing motorists a laugh anyway. He blamed it on the freezing cold weather . The cold definately can shrink things ;D ;D

A phone call would keep us in the picture.I asked Flying Couriers last week to collect a bird for me in West Drayton, at their convenience, and to let me know when so I could make arrangements. I was told that they would collect on Wednesday ( today ) and deliver tomorrow. Wayne assured me that they would contact the chap in West Drayton on Tuesday to tell him a time today.I am just off the phone to the guy and his wife waited in all day and has not heard anything from Flying Couriers.This is my first time using this company and to say I am disappointed would be an understatement. A phone call is what was needed to keep everybody sane. > >
