  1. The bird was a phenonema. Her dam and grand dam also were Gold Award winners.

  8. I spoke to Stevie Ferguson from Annan at the Joe Murphy presentation last night and he said that he was very disappointed not winning a S.H.U Award this year with his good ch pd hen that won the SNFC Tours race (only bird on the day 570 miles, winning National by almost 400ypm ) .What a performance by this 6 yr old hen who has 4 x SNFC diplomas and has previously been 6th Open SNFC. Definately a one in a million pigeon that should be celebrated by all Scottish pigeon fanciers. Incidently, the bird that won the SHU Award was D.Owens Ypres winner, which was flown on the same day as Tours. Mr Owens bird was a super bird but I cannot see how it beat the Tours winner for the award.Afterall Ypres is 160 miles less than Tours and was flown with a smaller birdage. I can sympathise with Stevie Ferguson as twice before I was positive I should win a SHU Award and have missed out to lesser performances in my opinion. :-/ :-/
  9. What a waste of a thread, nobodys questioning Terrys ability in flying pigeons .The bird isnt for sale now, thats the end of a pointless thread
  10. Good to see you boys trying to rekindle the Amalgamation. I wish you all the best with it as it is definately forward thinking.
  11. Well done Gareth, good to see you volunteer your services as the new West of Scotland Amalgamation secretary.
  12. So, £1000, is this the bid you have for your hen Terry ? I thought you were putting it on auction on p.b .?
  13. ;D ;D You have to start somewhere Just interested to see what the p.b members think it is worth
  14. I will start the bird off with a bid of £100.
  15. I am not having a go Terry. Everything has its price and I have spent that sort of money on pigeons myself but that was for a distance bird. I hope you get what you are looking for but, as they say on the DRAGONS DEN " IM OUT " ;D

  18. Well done Kieran , a top award for you to win in your first year . Brilliant flying young man. Are you still supporting the Hoops with yer mammy? Your a good judge of pigeons but not of good fitba teams ;D ;D ;DNeither is yer da. Well done kiddo

  20. Whats management recommendations Ian
  21. Only partly true Gareth. The main problem was lack of amenities at race point ie water etc. Tam McEwan reported back to SNFC committee that he didnt favour Rennes, and although we had flown it for many years, we had better race points we could go to.My proposal at the time was to go to different race point maybe just outside Rennes, but still call it Rennes as it was known to all the general public as well as all pigeon fanciers.
  22. Where did you get the Van Eidens from Frank?
  23. You would definately do well then Gareth ;D ;D ;D
  24. Yes, I have judged at your show before. The pies were sh** lol. I also did best in show once.
