  7. Totally agree Gangster but pms should not be accessed by mods unless they are reported to webmaster.Im not saying the mods would read anyones pms.
  8. Who decides whether a post is ungentlemanly Oldyellow. I dont think any access should be given to pms unless the police is involved.
  9. Thats good to know Oldyellow, just putting rumours to rest
  10. Can the mods read our pms? :-/
  11. Dipped means exactly what Mr Massey says.A bird containing a show bird somewhere in its pedigree ( usually g.parent ).As I said before, these birds are easily picked out by a good judge but sometimes the judge has no alternative to give these pigeons a ticket as usually they are really well turned out.I hasten to add, this should not be a red card.
  12. Totally agree, alot of good racing men getting caught out with dipped birds, but in the likeliest classes now are 90% dipped pigeons and the racers are sometimes crap.Leaves no choice to give some dipped birds a minor ticket, but should not be a winning card.
  13. I have judged the Lothian show as well as every big show in Scotland many times and I wont put up a dipped bird if it is in a racing class. The 300 mile class at Lothian today was a super class, easy to find ticket winners and spoilt for choice but when you judge a likeliest class it is a different story.

The late Jock Allan was the best distance flier in west section. Unbelievable record at Gold Cup and still his birds are winning today.

good fanciers in all sections of SNFC, postcode means alot when flying with SNFC. Whos to say that if you had a top Ayrshire fancier in the east of the country, that they wouldnt be winning top honours. I know a guy that went from Glasgow to Duns and couldnt fail at the nationals. When he moved back to Glasgow, he became mediocre again, struggling to get a time in again.I dont think you can single any fancier out as being the best when their are so many disadvantaged areas to fly into.

  20. I understand what you mean, but the way you have put this, you would think you were in favour of the cheat.I know this is not the case Grass cutter and that you want this man put out the sport for cheating and nothing else.It was stated at the N.W AGM that the SHU had advised the North West fed that they could not put him out as a cheat because they hadnt supplied ring numbers of winning pigeons and it was suffice to put him out as a BAD MEMBER. This was an opportunity for Mr X to clear himself of any allegations but he failed to do so .
  21. Now is the time for police action, now that this b.....d has been kicked out his fed.Justice will prevail, at last
  22. You ve missed the meeting sitting on P.B ;D ;D
  23. Mr Billy McLaren, why the hell arent you at your meeting.Doesnt it start in a few minutes? You mentioned the SNFC and the police. The police have the evidence and are waiting, eagerly,to charge Mr X as soon as the Fed give the go ahead. The SNFC have nothing to do with this and I think you are trying to shift the blame from your Fed officials. Everybody, hopes that the right thing is done, for the sake of the pigeon fancy in Scotland.
  24. You are right to a degree Kirky, but a resignation is not accepted until an AGM and therefore the fed can still take action before resignations are read out.
