  1. Ive not got it either now :-/
  2. Ive feckin lost the plot here. This guy has asked for info so what have I missed >
  3. How are they breaking rules m8? Every country has their own set of rules but most of them are basically the same. If you are in Scotland, contact the S.H.U and if you are in England contact the R.P.R.A. These are the governing bodies and they will keep you right.
  4. One things for sure, it will be won in Glasgow. Jock3, your a closet Tim.
  5. Must contain some broad spectrum antibiotic, similar to baytril only not as fierce.
  6. Good to see the Bears top of the SPL again. Back where they belong.
  7. Afraid your wrong m8, 1997-2008 I beat you 7 times, 97, 02,03,04,06,07,08. This makes me shade it ;D Now lets talk about every other race
  8. Yes John, your dad and yourself dominated the coast race in the Milton of Campsie club and then came to the big Kirkintilloch club and won it 3 years in a row from 99/2001. Good going m8. I like this race myself as Ive won it 6 or 7 times in recent years,
  9. Alex, Stuart wasnt going to ask me for a yb for the sale because of all the sh.tty politics in the sport at present. I told him that I would donate a yb to the Glasgow sale if he really wanted one regardless of what folk think. The man said they would be delighted to have a yb from me and he said that this would emphasise what type of person I am and that I showed I had no bad feelings against anyone, Glasgow, Lanarkshire or anybody else. I said, anything I have ever done in the pigeon sport was of a positive nature and I never ever harmed anyone in the Glasgow fed. I, and my grand father before me, have donated countless ybs to Glasgow fed and will continue to do so, if wished.
  10. I was beat by someone flying about 50 miles south east of me. His name was George Rankin, dont know if his son is still helping him. ;D ;D Memory serves me right my doo sat out for 15 minutes, might have caught the lucky winner.
  11. Good flying m8,surely, must be the best record in SNFC at this distance. Never had them that far but would like to give it a go. Have been 2nd & 5th west section, 11th & 30th open Tours 628 mls in only 3 attempts at over 600 mls.
  12. Got one from Centenary race also at 10 am, second morning. Was bird I gave to guy in Wales, it flew right past him and came back to me adding 300 miles onto its trip. It would have been in top 16 open
  13. How the heck did you know that. ;D ;D I spealt one word wrong here.
  14. Got a 2 yr old cock just out of race time. He went on to win section by an hour at 340 miles as well as score in races from 60 mls to 570.I still have him at 14 years.
  15. Im not flying ipes, but may go to Ypres with the SNFC. Thought you were getting better at spelling to Alec. ;D Mind you, ipes is an anagram of pies, suits us eh.
  16. In the good old days we used one medicine that should be used more these days. It was called " The Spade " or as known now " The wheelie bin "
  17. Kirkintilloch, not long ago had 42 lofts. Now club is disband. Newmains used to have 100 lofts,I think
  18. Heres my point exactly, Brian here is another top Scottish loft that has seen YBS for the last ten years. The thing here is, he has recognised it.
  19. Birds will completely recover from YBS but shouldnt be raced for at least a week after recovery. It is a fact, and most folk dont know it, YBS is the cause of alot of yb losses. If you can recognise it, then you will reap the benefits. I ve won yb average in club 9 out of last 10 years. Also, may I say, having by far the best returns
  20. There are various ( 17 I think ) strains of YBS. Most dont need any treatment except keeping ybs hydrated eg electrolytes in water, but if you get the fatal one then really, Ive found out that ADENOSAN is the best cure for it. Hope you dont get that strain m8.
  21. Have been on 3 SNFC committees and all have spoke about changing sections, but this is a massive grey area.
  22. Great idea Butch, definately the way forward for the Lanarkshire fed
  23. The real problem with Y.B.S is that alot of fanciers think it is their fault for the disease and therefore dismiss ever having it in there loft.
  24. Listen a second, Ive visited most top lofts in Scotland and EVERYONE has had YBS at sometime. Some say they havent but when I showed them then they realised what I was on about. A simile to what you are saying is that, say you were a teacher in a primary school and none of your kids in your class ever came down with a virus. The probability of that is 0% mate. Young pigeons are the same, susceptible to viruses that may not affect adult birds.
  25. Well said that man
