I totally agree with you Frank but I know Jim Hannah and John Houston have tried to remedy this mistake by contacting as many people as possible. John Houston asked me to put it on PB and to contact as many people as possible. I also think, if anybody didnt find out in time and decided to return their clock tomorrow, this would be looked at by the management committee with a degree of compassion. I also believe the clock rules should be addressed at the next AGM, so changes must be put in writing to secretary by 31st Oct.
If its made compulsary and written into the rules then there are no arguments or appeals etc by those that get tested. I didnt say test in this race specifically Alan, I said I think testing should be done in every race.
Think this could/should be the race the SNFC test for illegal substances . I think every section winner should be tested in every national, dont you think?
Well said m8, hope everything goes well for you and the family today.I know how you feel right now as Ive lost my mum, dad, brother and sister in last few years, and its not easy, BUT IT GETS BETTER. All the best, Derek Hay
I think what Gareth means is, its typical that the west section has the wind against it in this national. Even with an east wind we would still struggle with winning this particular national.I predict the winners in Eyemouth doing 1400 vel and the west section winner 1100s as per norm.
