  1. I think it was the same birds, the problem was Alan found it easy to win down south but its a different kettle of fish flying into the west of Scotland.
  2. Maybe some truth in that Are you an expert in craws
  3. I ll be there this year. I wouldnt go before, even when I won section averages etc, as the vice pres was a dodgy barsteward and the SNFC had a massive cloud over its head because of this guy
  4. John Hughes evens, SHOW DOOS LOL Hoody, 4/1. He used tae be no bad at the shows tae Joking aside lads, I think Ill miss this year as you ve put too much pressure on me. HES GOT UGLY DOOS THAT CAN FLY

  6. IMO. The two Nationals will never get back together as one.Too much bitterness from some members. What will happen is most of the SNRPC members will drift back to the SNFC over the next couple of years without telling anyone. Thats whats happening just now.
  7. I agree , RAF but all main airports try and divert flocks of birds from aeroplanes flightpaths.
  8. All main airports are scrambling flocks of birds brains with radar signals sent out when the birds get near. This happens frequently in the London area so may contribute to the problems we have flying from the south east corner.

  13. Any bird in yer hands is good at your age
  14. I didnt say SLOW WING BEAT,I said using tips of wings, in other words, a short wing beat instead of the energy sapping clapping one. My birds are all distance birds and will score at any distance, thats down to management, although a well managed sprint/middle distance pigeon should beat them in earlier races ( but sometimes dont )
  15. My son and I are obsessed with how the pigeon flies and most of the time we are correct in our predictions. For the distance races,we have always looked for a bird that flies with the tips of its wings , ie. not using the full wing beat.( IT LOOKS AS IF IT ISNT USING ANY ENERGY )Watch your birds the next time they are out and you will see what I mean
  16. well chuck it while your ahead , seriously, good flying bud
