If you heat the birds up, they rush on with the moult. Some say, chilli or curry powder help I think a little hemp seed helps too. I dont rush the moult on, I like nature to take its course.

One of the all time greats not mentioned, was Jock Allan, his birds still win at the distance everywhere they go.

I know how many finish Midland fed programme. I competed in it for 3 years and was at the death every year,only one from my club lasted the pace with me, I also won their coveted John Donald trophy for best average all races.( runner- up twice ) That took its *expletive removed* toll on my loft. I went with Lanarkshire and then Almond valley down the east and my loft is now stacked with doos, make up your own mind
