  1. Aye Jock, imagine moving to Ravenstruther when you could have got a house in Glasgow
  2. Your not the only one Tam
  3. The south section used to read up in the 80s, every fancier emptied there dookits into the yb national. The Solway won almost every position in top 30 Open regularly.
  4. Im disappointed in this post Jade, it sounds as if you dont understand how the terrain in Scotland works re. racing pigeons. The further south east you are the easier it is . Just follow the result of any yb national and you will see what I mean. There are people in Eyemouth who train their ybs only and then jump them into the yb National and score in top 30 Open.Ive heard it all before, we in the west dont send them far enough before the national etc etc well I know guys in the west who had them at Newark the week before the national, only 30 miles of difference between these two races, and they failed to time in nat.
  5. There ye go Jock, your near neighbour agrees with you.
  6. Aye, but hes only flying 150 miles
  7. How did you get on then JOCK, what time, returns etc

  14. eh, said it every year for last 5-6 years Brian. Im not taking anything away from winners in the east section. GOOD birds everywhere m8,we cant help our postcode!!!!! but nobody can decry birds not home into west tonight. YB National is a regional race and we should look at how the result goes. You know the script Brian, you are a good *expletive removed* dooman

  21. Sorry Hey Sir, if your in at 2.45, well done my friend, what a cracking doo m8. Good luck tae ye, I sincerely hope ye win section Harky
  22. Aye yer right Tim, a National winner is a National winner. BUT do not kid yersel that your bird at say 1.20 is as good as one in the west at say 3.25. Two different races m8, get that into yer heed
  23. Cracking bird but why are ye keeping quiet about it. Let yer fellow fanciers know whats going on
  24. Its unbelievable the difference in returns in the east section and the west section in the yb national. Lets all look at the gap between these sections and realise how pigeon racing really goes in Scotland. The bottom line is, the further east you are the better and easier it is for you. Now, you in the east, dont kid yourself your pigeons are better than the ones an hour or two or even 3 behind you in the west . This issue has to be addressed in the nationals, especially the yb nat. I dont know how we do this other than have separate liberations, maybe sections A, E and F and B,C,D and G. Food for thought
  25. yer right, a disgrace from both those that dont phone in and those that run the libline. AMATEURISH P***, JUST GOT MY 3RD DOO
