  1. Colour means fk all imo,eg.SNFC Messac 1st Open 2011, RED CH HEN.
  2. Colour means fk all if they can shift their azz, lol.
  3. Too big a gap, 2nd 3rd ???? Get some dosh on it if shes a good yin.I think your at the wind up, lol
  4. Shes 10 minutes behind because shes just thrown them, the doos showing form and health, I wouldnt hesitate with her.
  5. Im a great believer in fairness in pigeon racing and wish it was as easy as it once was in the 70s - early 90s to get pigeons home from extreme distances but things have changed. The poor north section fanciers never got a real shot at getting any birds home from this race in race time. Its easy to say we stick to tradition, 15/1 and 400ypm and protect the SNFC history but then you would have the SNFC as a joke with only a few birds in the distance results every year. Not good publicity for racing pigeons into Scotland.ALL OTHER NATIONALS ARE 200YPM OR LOWER, THERE POOR SECRETARIES AND CLOCK SETTERS DEAL WITH IT, LOL.ps. This thread isnt about ME as Mr.Best In Show said, if anyone knows me then they know I would be competing at any race, any distance with any criteria.
  6. So we should stick to the 10/1 and 400ypm for all diploma winners in the longest race. Thats written in the book but isnt adhered to, is it?? Ive heard folk quote my bird was 52nd Open Tours when there were only 300 birds entered, therefore only 30 open positions.I have diplomas myself that I might say are unwarranted as they were awarded for basicly timing in the longest race.Double standards here, we either stick to the rules or we dont or we change them, just for the longer races.
  7. Your record at this race is brilliant Gareth but I dont think Mr Mathieson (dms)thinks they are good doos that have to come.We should try better lol
  8. You made a complete ar se of yersel with that one, lol.
  9. Got my 2nd last night at 9.44pm, both birds I have back scored in Tours last year.Horses for courses.
  10. Your right

What the fk are ye celebrating it for lol.Enjoy Stephen m8, its defo all downhill now
  12. Thats cheating m8, same as your bird going into a lesser flying loft.Same thing, simple as that.
  13. Jeez, that could happen at any race over 400 miles. The SNFC are the only organisation that stops at 400ypm, most are 200ypm and some even lower. Well done, not many about I can tell ye.
  14. I see the SNFC 1968 Tours race with 1353 birds away finished at 300ypm.Stokes of Carstairs got last position at 302ypm.I believe there were 16 birds in race time. The last 3 years in the SNFC longest races, Bourges, Messac and Niort , on each occasion all the prizes were not won because of the 400ypm rule.Think its time for a change.
  15. Robbie, I think your Geography is a wee bit off m8, Fraserburgh and Peterhead are the furthest EAST in Scotland ( if not Britain )and although you are flying greater distances, doesnt altogether make it the hardest route. Please dont consistently have a go at the west section boys.If you flew in Inverness, like Paul Thompson, I could understand it. Big Stuarts Maverick is a cracker, undoubtedly, and had to put great performances up to win a Silver but what about the guys in the south and east, they could also win a Silver with 3x Ypres.Unfair, I know but still good birds. You cant help your post code and theres good doos everywhere. Enjoy Clermont my old son.
  16. Im stone cold blootered lol
  17. Fools seldom differ , lol
  18. A very accurate assumption John, my thoughts exactly.
  19. Will have to start mine soon, mating up and not flying much
  20. Where you take them Rab?
  21. How did the race go ??
  22. Congratulations to Cuthbert and Cree and J.Mathieson in their top 20 Open positions from SNFC Ypres, flying into Ayrshire from the east too, lol.The further east the SNFC fly the better it is for you guys.
