Aye, buts thats not much good if the clock check is a few hours later, or even the following day.If he could show the doo to a delegate or clock setter and get a strike next to it ,soon after homing, it would be better.

I asked the great Geoff Kirkland about a hen I was sending to the national with her 4th and 5th flight thrown at once..I knew this was a sign she was in great condition but had my doubts about the big moult kicking in.He said he never looked at the wings and to go with my gut feeling.I understood what he meant as the hen was bouncing.She was sent and was 3rd section SNFC.
