Well done B.Massey. Stevie B how did the sale go? just wondering who bought my youngster? It's ready ;D ;D ;D
  2. Chris, The South Section is very poor at pooling in their own section, with hardly any £20 poolers in all the SNFC races in 2009, also the National pools in Open competition is a poor gamble, as in years gone by, although I do appreciate there is less birds competing.
  3. Try to win a race or 2 and compete well from the SNFC
  4. Alf, Was that a trivia quiz question? Maybe you should start a quiz thread on SNFC
  5. YOUNG REEKIE 1st Open Ypres ALL POOLS 2009.
  6. Aye had to pay a £100 more. Mark Evans no quick enough on the hammer :'(
  7. Had a good time in Donny. Managed to buy the pigeon today that I went for. Delighted.
  8. Start pairing up the last week in January. No point before, as unlike the Belgians who start racing youngsters at the start of May, we don't start till the last week in July. Your only wasting money on feeding for a couple of months and the probability of them being finished before they start.
  9. OFF TOPIC. START ANOTHER THREAD AND CALL IT " LETS SLAG EACH OTHER OFF IN LANARKSHIRE "
  10. Apologies accepted just answering the topic question honestly. Being President I'm also very passionate about the continuing success of our club.
  11. Double action? You mean a club that is growing every year, flying for bigger prizes and the envy of most fanciers outwith the area who like a bet on their pigeons. Also a full compliment of trophies to be won every season. Where do you fly? or are you just hiding behind your PC. ;D ;D ;D
  12. New Lothian RPC, Scotlands biggest weekly pigeon club with 78 lofts.
  13. I stay at the west of Edinburgh and never see Lanarkshire birds going over on racedays. They always go round the back of the Pentlands. You only get the odd stray youngsters the day after the race when they are tired and don't fight the wind.
  14. So does Ivermectin (Eqvalan)
  15. Tyson, You can race Wanstead Flats with the other lot, or have you fallen out with them too. Ware is a few miles from Harlow about 310-315 for me. The WDA race from there with more birds than us, so Lib point will be fine. Good programme with the races on different weeks. Maybe the 600 mile guys would want to go further than Andrezel. Just got to get the basketting times sorted for the guys who work.
  16. You've never worked ;D ;D ;D
  17. Gareth, Why not Bourges with the UNC. Same distance as Niort???
  18. Flown darkness since 2000 and timed yearlings for fun most weeks. Its not darkness, its good birds and common sense with a good system.
  19. Age 7 in 1973? You must have had some paper round ;D ;D
  20. Tried all systems its widowhood cocks for me all the time!
  21. Well Done Willie
  22. Substitute Newbury for Wanstead Flats or Harlow, or do away with it completely, and have One Inland National from the Coast. Substitute Falaise for Clermont and have the Ypres race a week later which is an empty week. All these racepoints are on a line, which the majority of the country is racing week in week out, with maybe the slight exception of Ypres being slightly more Easterly, but this racepoint was incluided for a completely different reason and should remain, with duplication as a yearling national also.
  23. In my Opinion there is only one weekly racing pigeon club in Scotland. THE NEW LOTHIAN R.P.C. Where else can you fly against 80 odd members most weeks and prize and pool money of £1000 to £1500 every race.
  24. 5th & 6th December
