That would make Dannys day totally dedicated to pigeons , cracking pigeons , did Spike win any prizes
  5. Yes J Hannah, sorry to upset ,( Is any fancier better than the other , define better) excellent fanciers past and present work for the enjoyment rather than the result and if you like to talk about results the names i mentioned are at the fore front of national racing over the last two decades in (My Opinion) ,i dont wish to be in a debating society.
  6. Flying into the west G Rankin & son, their level of consistency is the measuring stick for all fanciers wishing to compete in races over 250 miles, D Hay , J J Hood , J Houston ,J Clark, J Cullen , J Alston , D Elliot have all got an excellent record and ability to maintain this into the west section
  7. I thought the National was for the whole of Scotland , if you take statistics into account, POSSIBLE 90% of National races are won on the south and east of the country( so should we call it the south east national), possible change the consitutional rules and have a postal vote and then you may get everyones views.i like to think we bring equality to the national!
  8. The national should move around the country for its AGM, Aberdeen ,Gretna, , Dundee,Edinburgh, ect each year
  9. I think that is a good point John seperate liberation for young bird national may help the birds
  10. I think Gareth Rankin put the time and effort into working out a suitable race programme for the east coast and has the Lanarkshire federations best interest at heart , i think he shows good leadership and the majority vote was for going with the SNFC so thats history lets hope we get favourable racing in 2010. Tom Corrie Jnr Clarkston & District
  11. Its got to be GWP MacAloney coatbridge , their federation results must be the best of all time, first class doo men with a brilliant system ( hope they leave some birds at home next season).

    Old Firm

Its got to be a blue doo
  14. As stated in past post Clarkston had excellent returns except for Wetherby , the full country took a big hit that day , we had three times as many pigeons at that race than previous years. If you have no birds in club you have no club . I stated last night we are happy to compete at club level ( anything else is a bonus),long may it continue .I personally thought the later liberations had the best races.
  15. The word (yous )was of interest to me,what is it in reference to ,Celtic Tiger 1, you stated in your previous message , is it Clarkston club that is a member of the Lanarkshire fed or is my partnership , which yes competed in every young bird race including the two nationals. Tom Corrie jnr
  16. Who is yous ,Celtic tiger 1( you appear to be talking in riddlles) i have plenty of yearlings left which competed in the Lanarkshire fed , thanks for your concern.
  17. I think bigda should take on race control(Or is it weather controller), he has a good grasp of technology and he has all those years of experience . I say Bigda for the job. Ps I thought the race programme was set for the next two years, whats the point of racing youngsters down one side of the country and then change it ? Tom Corrie jnr
  18. Somone has got out of bed on the wrong side , possible debate the point with you at the federation meeting , enjoy your pigeons . Tom Corrie JNR
  19. I think in the Lanarkshire you can only compete in your own club , the pigeons appear to come out the back end of the campsie hills ( If the birds where coming direct south the overfly rule would come into play but they are in every week in time before us) our club is Clarkston and Glenmavis and Coatbridge are well in front each week, am not complaining appart from one stinker of a yb race the returns in our club where outstanding in the young bird programme.
  20. I think the governing bodies need to invest in some sort of technology , birds that are well trained and healthy not not homing
  21. I thought it was £9.50 a basket we paid
  22. SNRPC LIBERATED AT 07 30, LEICESTER LIGHT SOUTH WIND 640 BIRDS

  24. What time is the race marking at Muirhead and what is the cost for non members to send to the yb national with the SNRPC
  25. Too cold ,early liberation 7am (Air temp has to be above 10 degrees) , better getting some heat in air.
