Is it not the case it is the weather that causes losses of pigeon,poor visibility , electric disturbance in air , consistent east winds not just route Dr Lynch stated the population of predators was significant on both sides of Britain .Is it not stated on site about raptors at cities up and down the British Isles.Again the weather hasent been kind the last three weeks and the race by fanciers in Aberdeen from the east coast shows that .

In response about Midland federation flying down the west coast , the members voted on this at every AGM and voted for same , so certain individuals didnt get the vote they wished and walked out in a childish manner as they had at another AGM when they didnt get their way. As for your continued interest Redwhiteblue in the amount of pigeons one individual sends smells of envy and as for your comment about shouting that is outrageous making reference to patient and i would expect an apoligy to be logged to Mr Corrie, who is only stated his returns over the last three weeks the same way anyother member has to keep everyone updated and for interest.

I think its passed on at the rearing stage by old birds and then appears at time of stress, it should clear up with light feed and origano in water.

May be that the old school should stand aside and let young forward thinking blood, bond the Scottish distance racing,otherwise the same individuals will remain dogmatic and rigid in their views.Both sides of the fence

I think you are lining the pockets of all these companies selling these products for canker, but every man for himself ,why not only treat half your team and analyse effects at end of season.

You appear to be missing point , this is not digging out race controllers only impoving communication , the point was that individuals with this facility could inform club members if required, or is it you feel this is to much work for one person and possible there should be a communication officer for each federation.

Who would have said we would have pigeons timing themselves in on a Saturday, times change and so should the role of the way the race controller communicates with other members , no one wishes the race to go wrong for someone to take a dig at individuals , just ways toimprove communication.

Open communicaton on this site will cause no harm , i already stated that not all race controllers have access,with whay to help communicate thisinformation or is it the fact that they have no interest in sharing information with the general members , causing fanciers anxiety due to lack of information on lib line , only stating phone back which can be numerous times .No one is digging out race controllers but they could possible use every form of communication to keep the members updated.

Would it not be beneficial for race controllers to put information on this page , if delay of liberation then specific reason and when possible liberation time , then members with this facility can inform others, if they have no access they could contact someone to put on this site.

So far with YB , two races no losses, one first. with no canker treatment for old birds or ybirds,only natural products,in my view only way forward

Natural defence is the best way forward , the fancy press is clouding your view , stick to natural products

What was the problem, was it a bad race,appears to be excellent conditon at race point.

BODDY & RIDEWOOD have plenty of companies selling alternative natural products or sodium bicarbonate from shop

Why not try using natural products rather than antibiotics
