I,m sec of the East of Scotland Fed and also on the National Committee and I,m totally against this as it puts some of my members into another section. Also think clowns who are not members should not be commenting on this. Also If this does go through I wont be getting out my bed to do clocks or run marking stations next year, I,ll just come up and stand around like the majority do.

Just been informed that our Hotel is being refurbished so we have been moved to Tiffany,s which is only next door at no extra charge. I,ll be at a few sales but will be in the bar at the show from 11am both days, if past experiences are anything to go by.

Maidstone race is the week before the Gold Cup and therefore would not have a big impact on the birdage I dont think, and also if we do away with this race and the chance for the Feds to cut cost by ferrying with us then they may well go with the other crowd, as it is now too expensive for Feds to go it alone to the Coast. I would do away with the first Inland race tho. Also Ypres needs to stay as it is the only water race that is showing an increase every year. JMO

End o the day it will be the same faces that make the effort to get to the meeting, as it is every year, n if you dont like this proposal then you should make the effort to go along and vote against it cos there aint no good moaning if you dont go along

So if it changes to 28ml sections,do we then change to 14ml sections next year to make it fairer and then 7mls the year after because someone hasnt managed a section win yet, it could go on forever. Phil Lynch needs to take a long hard look at himself, woudnt listen to his committee, well I for one wont be on his committee next year if he is in charge.

This was discussed at Committee level and the only one who thought it was a good idea was Phil Lynch, every other committee member was against it. So a 28 ml region makes it fairer, only until this passes then they will want it reduced to 14ml then 7 then 3 then everyone will have their own wee region to fly in. FF sake its a National Club, think we should go back to 4 sections, stuff the regions, North South East n West, thats what it was before and nae problems and thats what I,m going to propose from the floor as an ammendment to this proposal, Back to Basics.
