I thing you may be right Oldyellow. We have just got a knock back from the Lottery, ( Yes Unsuccessful) be couse we are a member of the RPRA, & that Rule159. Its not that we want some thing for nothing, We have 3 of our members that are disabled, One has to get the race rubber off the bird with a hook, as he suffers with very bad Arthritis in his hands & feet. I say good luck to the clubs that have got it. But to condemn us for being a member of the RPRA. i feel it a outrage > >

Is there any thing in the RPRA rule book, with regard to this topic. I have had a look but could not find nothing!!

If some one in a pigeon club is made a Life Member. What do's it mean??? (1) If he no longer flies pigeons but still active in the club, Do the club pay his RPRA fees?. (2) Do he forgo his club fees, & still have a Vote in club busness? (3) if he wants to come back & race his pigeons in the club, Well he have to pay the full club subsription & Fed Fees, As he is still a LIFE MEMBER, Birdage He WILL have to pay. That one is easey!! There that some thing to get your heads around. NO JOKES PLEASE>

I'm all for the ETS, it gives every one a fair chance once the pigeon has trapped. a lot of races has been lost after the pigeon has trapped, when you had to get hold of the bird take it's rubber off & time it in. For the senior members we are not as fast moving as we used tobe it is a god send THE DOWN SIDE OF THE ETS, If for any reason some thing went wrong with it on race day you have no backup. :'( With a Old system you can allways have a spear clock as stand by :K)
