------------------------ 2020 may be my last time visit to the Blackpool Show, after going for over 35 odd years. I go now to meet old club mates that are still about but are getting thin on the ground now from East London, at the age of 82 I have trouble keeping up with the drinks mixing with the lads from Essex But you will find us in the Galleon Bar with the Jugs of beer. But I always have a good time, We are on our way Friday till Monday am Have fun there folks, Not you Willy as you are not going.

As I have been on YB Darkness for the 1st time, I was told to get them though the moult quick, feed Wheat & Barley only, Only let them out to bath.

This year I put my YBs on Darkness for the 1st time, It went very well they have only just dropped they 1st Flight in the last week. How do I get then though a full Moult before the next race season ?? I was told, Keep them in, Only let them out for a Bath, Then Feed Only Wheat & Barly

Since the above went out business, & Mysoft took over the running of it, As anyone tried Mysoft Loft. I found it far to busy for the like of me i'm 82 this year, I cant get my head around the thing. I wonder if any one as had a go at it. Sandy is very helpful, but i dont think he understands 80% of our members are over 65 years of age.& have a problem with computers the best of times.

This Cheq W/F come in with my race birds to day at 1;15pm 22nd June 2019. DO ANYONE KNOW THE OWNER. ???? Ill give him some corn & a Drink. He was very thirsty. If the Owner can let me know what he wants me to do .

Would any one have Information of the This Strain of racing pigeon. Sticker Doncker & Johan Doncker Are they form the some Family ? I would like to know Information on the them & the breeder. I believe they are a SPRINT Pigeon.

I've pairing up my pigeons early, to get them settled in their next boxes, I will let them sit some dummy eggs, then I will part them, So when I return back from Blackpool in January, I will put them back together again, ready for breeding,

It was a great fair again this year, got most of my pigeon stuff I normally cart back from Blackpool each year, just pick up small bits & peace's. Meet a lot of old friends, meet new ones, Well done the Lads that run it each year, gets bigger each year.

Good Morning, One & All. No Electric's in our club room, So members that want to send will have to have rubbers, out come the T3s.

Good afternoon Folks, Rain has just stopped, I've been out cleaned out lofts, let out old Birds & young together so they can have a bath, that they all did, as they are getting deep in to their moult, I had my last race last week, now I'm finished for this season, I am going on holiday next week, my daughters are at home to look after my dog, my mate is coming each day to look after my pigeons, Its been a very bad all around with losses of many pigeons all over the country, out of 26 members sending 2 to 300 birds per week, we are down to 5 or 6 members sending. Not only that Our club is in a Pub, & our ETS printer keeps blowing the Electrics, the printer is been taken away to be tested. So all who want to send will have to be marked in our nearest club that is 16 miles away. So I've called it a day for this season. I will split the cock & Hens up when I return from my holiday, so they can have a good moult. Things am looking forward in the closed season. Things I will do in the closed season, ie: South of England Fair in Epsom in October 2018. BHW Show in Blackpool in January 2019, & The BICC Presentation in Bournmouth February 2019. All been booked. Well forks hope your season as been a better one then ours, ps/ One good thing I got a few cards or in the club & 3rd open 3rd Section in the BICC Falaise in April this year. Have fun. Fred.

You wont go wrong if you get bird of Mark & Darren, two top fliers, & have swopped pigeon with one an other.

I've not used Pellets for years, found that a lot of the Pellets have been crushed owing to the 20kg bags moved around a lot or mixed with other corn in the bags. Always a lot of dust at the end of the bags.

Pigeon Got out, on the 7th Febuary. It has an Address Ring on & Wing Stamped.

I have been feeding "GEM" YB Corn, & I was wondering if members keep the young birds on the Young Bird corn all the young bird season, with may be a mix of barley as & when??. If you do turn to another mix, what do you feed? Our YB race's start at 105 mile then go up to 200 mile for our last YB race, I give them a few peanuts a week before their 4 last race's. They are all federation inland races. Apart for the 2 BICC Guernsey, & Falaise Races.

The BICC are at POITIERS this week end. the weather don't look to good, with the Rain coming in from the south west to the UK, I wonder if they will liberate the pigeon very early on Saturday & miss the bad weather??. We also have an inland race from YELVERTON the same day, If they hold over until Sunday I will be away on Sunday & will not be there to verificat my pigeon within 30 mins of timing in my 1st pigeon home. "Money down the pan". I will not be sending to Yelverton with the Fed. (That's Pigeon Racing) Happy Days. Ha!
