Our first young bird race Lyndhurst 84 mile, I wonder how many members will be sending in in our club, in the the passed years the old excuse was. Not sending untill next week let the rubbish go, I will be sending i have trained my young birds so they hopfully leave the said rubbish behind

No one seem to be useing a young bird mix of any kind!!!

------------------------------------------ Hope this will help I would Give them one each to my young birds after the first race. Backs "T-K-K-Kombi" tablet with a triple action against trichomonads, coccidiosis, crop mucous membrane inflammation. Use and dose: For prevention, one tablet is sufficient per pigeon. Should an attack occur, one tablet for three days in succession. During the racing period it is advisable to administer one tablet per pigeon every eight to 14 days. Every breeder should have Backs "T-K-K-Kombi" tablet to hand.

i'm off too Scotland, on the Monday 27th Sept untill thursday 30th. my brother-in law 60th bithday. He lives in a place called ABERCHIRDER going to have one or two day kicking my heals (as they say) We will be flying up too Aberdeen, & have a hired car to get about, i'll have the Wife, Mother-in Law, & sister-in-Law with me. We had a lad in our club went back I think to Banff or Elgin!some years ago, Brian Haden i don't know if he still flys pigeons up there!. If some one knows him can they PM me his phone number!I would like to do a visit to one of you lads lofts, & see how the other half live I may get away from the Mother-in Law for the few hours

i did'nt pre book my hotel, as I hoping to find a lift for 2011, they are like Bears down here I think they hibenate in winter you don't see a sole. untill the spring .

I can see what you are saying davy, But this was a combine race, It may be "OK" in the club But what about the Federation & Combine result????.

O Boy!! One or two members will be well p8st off, with our secretary, when they find out.

Need a little help! If pigeons are timed in on the day in a 2day race, when should the clocks be opened is it on the day or can they be opened the next day, and reseald for the on coming birds with pool money on them??? If the on the day pigeons are clocks are not opened on the day, do the time start the next morning???? We had pigeons on the day & our seceratey, said clocks will be opened the next day, for they are on ETS system!!

That sounds like the them OldYellow two lorrys the same, one was towing a trailer on the back was the first to lib.on the site., The trailer was the one the van hit the birds at 6:45am lib.

No Mate, The van was going to fast, We have got an idea, on the name of the firm, We are going to check it out I will be on the phone Monday morning to them.

No yellow UNC went up at 7am. The dead birds went back with the fed drivers. & the owners will be notified! ( I Hope) In the BHW Barkston Ash Inv. fed was there !!!!!

I went to see the liberations at Beachy Head car park (Eastbourne) on Sat.3rd July. I witnessed some thing I've never seen before all the 20 odd years at this site. At 6:45am the strings were cut & pigeons liberated, When a firms van come racing a long the small road at the point of the lib. he see the pigeons & seemed to put his foot down & excellerat right through the pigeons knocking them all ways, Killing 5 outright & injuring many more, then speeding off at high speed.he's wing mirror was broke off with the inpacked.The sound of the pigeons hitting the vehicle was horrendous . I think the pigeons were from the East Coast Federation!. We as a club will be writing to the firm to see if they can find the driver. I fill so ashamed that some IDIOT or IDIOTS Smashed the windows in our German Club mate's car because it had German number plate on it . We are not in the 1930 now it was a game of football & sport. I wonder what would had happened if he and his English wife was in the car at the time. what is this county coming to. God help us

It's OK to have a 2nd clock as a stand by if your ETS dont work! But how can you use a T3 as a2nd clock if you dont have any paper work or rubbers on the pigeons?

I agree with Old Yellow, It makes life a bit easer, on marking night if the club has all the same system!. & The cheapest is not always the best!!. over the fuw years we have had ETS in our club is seems the BRICON is the one that we have more problems with!!. most of us now use UNICON. I use UNICON becouse It give you a biger 1st pad, & the pocket clock fits nicely in your pocket. But they all do a job. It's up to your own liking I think.
