  1. i think the fawn one a bull cross not to sure of black dog
  2. just be carefull as inbredding that colse is risky as the young can show the good points in the parents but in some cases they can come week and a lot of bad points are really shown up if u get a good one straight in stock loft would be my hint
  3. origin is one of the most important things as if u buy winning bloodlines u are in giving your self a massive chance in achieving your goals as what Jim said is true look at this way you could give a horse trainer what aidan o Brien has at his stud and he wouldn't win very little work it the other way round u give aidan o Brien a medium horse he get results out of that horse that many pll wouldn't get another important point is is if a fancier is putting massive amounts of work into pigeons and has thousands of pounds of worth of lofts can u do the same if not can u achieve what he is
  4. well this is a tricky question i personally would go to a racing loft although i did get a few at a stud to top me up when i started they did int do to bad either what i look for is results and even they can be misleading for e.g lets say u had a 1first from 200 pigeons a nice result and on the other hand u had a result say 6th from 1000 pigeons know which one id rather have another is location ill use my own example this time im living 15 to 20 mile in the location in my fed with about 3/4 of the birds going straight up the coast to the good location well on a regular basis most weeks actually im in the top 10 if not top 5 with no one else in my area no where near the top 20 now which pigeon would u rather have i think the whole thing is doing your home work and finding out where the fancier is living and most importantly buy what are winning today don't think u can pull back a line of pigeons 10 years and say i can get that from them again don't think it can be done well not for us mere mortals anyway
  5. i would imagine east to west forget the author come on lads he flew them van de rhees (spelling)

  12. the best angel a pigeon has is us i spend roughlly 6 hrs of every sunday checking local hotspots and then doing my own thing simple as its just a matter of getting out there have seen a drastic improvemet over the last year so i know it works
  13. the belg are the masters in breeding and i dont think there masters in advertiseing mostlly its the sales pll that put the spin on at the end of the day the market is the way it is for a reason
  14. we recentlly had a post on the same lines sure we buy most of our birds off them anyway and before the comments come in yes some are crap but all in all the belg and dutch are still tops

  18. hope pll are not getting me wrong im not downing the British birds at all all im saying is just for me the total way pigeons is done over there there structure the way the find there results is way better than the way we do it and the countless champions that were bred in england due to the belgium birds and the legacy that will carry on for a long time about crap been bought over well that true but we buy the crap we are the ones making the market what do we do stop all foreign imports coming in its up too us to do our homework on what we buy i for one don't buy anything unless ive done mine this wont guarantee success but it helps
  19. read the thread and answer my eariller question ask your self whos the top 5 flyers in your area what are they flying or easier with all the fanicers that here top 5 fanicers here and what are they flying answer that
