fienke 5000 an left a long line of winners after it flown by veroout (spelling) koen van roy bought the olypmaid of leo hermans if im right in his last total sale around 07 or 08 not sure about that leo had said he was not filling so well anymore but koen managed to get birds from him hes a buyer mostly of big name pigeons he used to fly well in the mid 2000s with his soontjens and koopmans im not so sure if he flys now or what his results are like he keeps a lot of the de rauw sablon etc now he also had a real good breeder off the 155 of herbots another soonjen

you have me on that one wiley must have a look on koen's site the fieneke of veroout (spelling) left a impressive list of winners surprised they never really made it over here in a big way or i could be wrong again lol

im recently looking at the kbdb middle distance and sprint champions for the last 10 year trying to find them all is hard work to date i cant see one bird from the jannsens in the peds

the jansens were the masters of publicity and charged a arm and a leg even as far back as before world war 2 prob the best racer of the Jansens was the 019 fanastic bird no doubt the olieman of van der vegan was a better bird and beat the 019 many times only they raced in different clubs but they lived very close to each other the 019 would have had a lot more 2nds if he had of raced against the olieman van der vegan was never one for the limelight the bird never really got the plaudits it deserved they were brilliant business man have no doubt about that one
