Is there any reason why we shouldnt give the birds the water from boiled potatoes, carrots, broccoli. I was draining them when putting the dinner out and poured it into a empty milk carton to put into their drinking water tomorrow.

Dont think it would have been doing more than 14 or 15 knots Lindsay, 16 or 17 mile an hour. A bit nerve racking seeing them so close to the water though. Al.

I made my aviary from tile battens, really cheap. Just try and select them with as few noughts as possible. Al.

I dont doubt that, one of the previous threads someone posted "you could get a bad bird with a good eye but not a good bird with a bad eye", just noticed the eyes on these winning birds and it got me thinking again. Al.

Got my Homing World today, the front cover has pictures of 9 winning birds and their eyes in the Great Yorkshire Amal 2009. All 9 birds look to have good eyes. Does this go a long way to confirming there must be something in the eyesign theory?

Friday I was steaming all afternoon ;D, not as good as it sounds im afraid, we were steaming oak timbers into a boat :-/.

Working weather permitting :-/, if the weathers poor might manage to get away to make a wee delivery and have a blether and talk about doos for a wee while .
