This year I have a hopper of pellets in the stock loft. Once they have finished the mix they move onto the pellets. I have never seen such full crops in the YBs, they are absolutley stuffed full and all seem really content. Despite the cold weather they are looking like the healthiest YBs I have probably bred ;D Cant wait to get them out!!!

A wee update on Phoebe's progress. It seems Phoebe is recovering well from her ilness and the future is looking an awful lot brighter. The paragraph below is taken from her website, posted in October 09. http://web.me.com/duncanmacrae/Site/Welcome.html We were down in Glasgow two weeks ago for another MRI and received the good news last week that the MRI remains clear. This is another step but continue to take one day at a time and trust God that Phoebe will remain cancer free.

I really got hammered early last year by the sparrow hawk untill i got the orange flashing light which definately worked. Percy is around but never saw him take any, not to say he didnt though :-/ Al.

Iv'e a few young in the nest now, 8 days and others hatching now just i time for another cold spell, absoulutley freezing today but all seems fine so far. Havent heard a single squeak since the 4 at a week old have hatched, take it they are well fed and content.

Frank does it with elderberry, pour it into the ice cube bags. Al.

Thanks for the replies chaps, keep them coming. It just seems to me that if it is a benefit it is so easy just to put it by at night for the next day, not many nights go by without some sort of water from veg going down the sink.
