  4. Yes Murphy i have won out to the channel with birds i have bought namly Jim Hannah Blantyre .Where i live it takes a good pigeon to fly into the south west of Scotland . Have you won with any pigeons you have bought?
  5. I look forward to reading his column. Its different
  6. A cracking sale of y.bs .One not to be missed.
  7. The pigeons i purchased were bought in about October. They were delivered while i was at work. If i was there for the delivery i would have got amtrak to take them back . They were supposed to be long distance grizzles . They could hardly fly over the house roof .Complete waste of money.
  8. Jan Aardens for the distance and the Van Reets for the early races.
  9. A smart looking team of youngsters. Good luck when the racing starts with them.
  10. I bought 6 grizzles off him 2 or 3 years ago. The worst £500.00 i have ever spent. They were binned within a year.Did not even breed off them.
  11. Its for 10 old bird and 6 young bird races. Yes Stuart it counts the 2 inland nationals + Falaise . If you go through the national you still have to pay the national birdage . If you are lucky enough to fly a big team you certainly get value for money at £65.00
  12. Ballochmyle £15.00 fed fees and £65.00 convoying for all races any amount of birds.
  13. snow flurries here for last few hours. not as cold tonight
  14. At the end of the day pigeon racing is expensive enough so any possible way of saving money in joint convoying is a bonus.
  15. Yes asha the birds are convoyed by the S.N.F.C to these races. There are also other federations in Scotland who will be going to these races with the S.N.F.C . It helps cuts costs for federations by not having to send their own transporter to these races with a small convoy.
  16. We also have the option of going to Ypres with the S.N.F.C as we are able to get convoyed with them but it will not count in the averages. Some fed members felt 1 channel race was enough so they voted for it to be optional and not count for any trophies or averages.
  17. Yes Stewat they are all part of the averages. It will hopefully make a difference in our yearlings next season if we can get a bit of mileage into our youngsters this season.
  18. Old Birds start 25th April and Young Birds 25th July. We are going with the S.N.F.C to Newbury ,Eastbourne and Falaise
