i keep my young birds on layer pellets once they have left the nest tae approx 20% of their feed will still be pellets

i only parted my stock doos around xmas they are left together nearly all year and i put some of the hens back in today but no nest pans or anything like yet And still on 100% barley in the whole place and really pleased with the way the hens are handling just now makes a change as they are usually heavy as hell

This year i will have 8 pair of stock doos culled a couple of pair at the back end and another cock today and took 3 spare hens out the stock loft that have all bred at least 1 winner but i am pairing 1 of them to a wildy cock that has done ok....All going well 2 rounds and then take it from there but they are always allowed to rear a full round at the back end that i use for other things
