Low Waters had 15 baskets away tonight i think approx 380 birds

Andy is just off the phone he is still in a lot of pain but hopefully they will get him sorted out in the next week or so

I wouldnae send anymore than 50% of our yb's to any race if ye get skelped ye are in trouble but we still hope to have most of the yb's getting 4 races at least but some might get less or more depending on the moult in the later races

I am on earlies on monday so will most likely no see them come home but 40 will go to the race all the same

So had the yb i let in today Del f all left of him and he was a big doo

Aye more doos then any of us has ever had but after the fire I/we were gifted a few yb's from some good pals

We thought something must have happened as 1 of ours dropped like a stone and stood as straight as an arrow on the loft for 5 mins ps...i left more or less as soon as the birds started to climb so i could beat them home and missed percy hitting them

First birds at 12.02 72/79 at 12.45 when i left the loft but well pleased with that they were lib'd at 11.15 and all started to climb to the top of the hill in 1 batch just as i left Elvanfoot.It started to rain for 5 mins soon after lib but nothing drastic and visibility was good all the way home

If saturday is looking that bad get the fed training going on friday tae

The birds cleared in 1 big batch today but we had 5 late wans 4 of them being short ar$es but all home eventually although 1 of the late 1's is busted up he will be fine in a fortnight

Am defo playing it safe Wullie that's why i wont train them from 25-30mls myself as i know percy is odds on to hit them mate i was just looking to get an extra toss into the doos that huvnae had a race yet mate but no need to worry they will be fine
