I would need some one to collect it from this guys house and lib it for if possible nearer the line of flight for lancaster if that makes sence hopefully someone on here will be able to help. if not i will just have to send for it. its with a none fancier you see and i don't think he would want to keep hold of it for to long, although saying that he sounds like a nice bloke.

Hi i have had a bird reported in Swansea area is there anybody that could help with this please. I live in Lancaster so a liberation for this bird would be ok anywere from Manchester to Yeovil or any thing along those lines. Thanks

Mac1 i will be collecting the bird early monday morning the lady now has the bird contained again. i have a few friend that may well be coming down that way nearer the weekend so will be in touch when have some thing organised.

Hi just wondered if anbody knows a Mr McGarry from the falkirk area. I liberated a bird for him this morning on my way up the motorway at Happenden services. I said when i spoke to him that i would call him and let him know that it had been liberated but have lost his number. If any one knows him please let him know that it was up at around 09.15 this morning. and it would be nice to know whether he got it back. Regards

I have reported this bird to the SHU but had no reply what do i do now? if i don't get a reply in the next two days it will get liberated away from my house. not something i want to do with out contacting the owner but needs must.

Bird intoday if any body knows were abouts it is from please let me know i travel to Scotland most Mondays and will be able to liberate it along the way. Cheers

In the last 2 weeks i have lost 7 young birds to a Sparrowhawk does anybody know what i can doe about it, if anybody has any ideas please PM with a solution or any ideas. the way things are going i will not have a team of young birds for this year and this will have a knock on effect for the next season any advice will be greatly appreciated.

XWeather says that the wind is S or SSE for Saturday most of the way up the country and will be mostly a clear day alright day i think. unless it changes again.

I have lost 3 young birds i one week, if it goes on like this i will have none left to race this year. i would like to catch the B-----y thing it would do no more killing around here.

Only one place for that type of bird. I tried all the stuff people said and for while he calmed down then when i wasn't expecting it he was into the nest box of my best birds and smashed there eggs with fighting, so don't chance it you may well suffer for it later.

I have the same problem at the moment but the cats are sitting on my house roof they get up from next doors and sit and watch the birds. but they won't be there for long i have had enough of the fact that some people just let them do what they want. the neighbour should put some thing up to stop them getting on the roof. the main problem is when the young birds start to fly from the loft the first port of call is on the roof and if they get a bad experiance from landing on the roof it may well nock there confidance/ though on teh other hand it may well work to my advantage with them not wanting to sit up there and only stay on the loft, i hastent o add the birds only go on the roof while they are young. I have just ordered a cat trap and are going to set it in the garden and when i catch any of the cats they will get a good rattleing and soaked with water before being released hopefully that will stop them from at least coming in the garden the roof is another matter.
