If you could buy success we mere mortals would not be in the pigeon game other than to make up the numbers. In the late 70s a local bussiness man thought he would become the M.Stoute of pigeon racing and bought a whole kit of Van Hee's (top notch then) everyone looked in awe until one old fancier asked "can they fly" .He won one race and threw in the towel the following season. In this game you can't buy success it's a combination of a lot of things all rolled into one which make a good fancier and for those that go the extra mile - well who knows.

J.W has put it well doesn't even have to be a long plank just get the balance right and the birds will fly open hole all day and anything heavier than a pigeon or hitting it too hard will be excluded from the loft. I found it kept the birds fit.

I thought it was approx.£30.00 for up to 4 birds and £2.50 per extra bird. I have seen sellers asking for £35.00 but Louella only charge £22.50/4. Seems there may be some add ons by some sellers :'( :'( :'(
