I like many others put our birds into the lions den as soon as we open our lofts - last week Alf posted about a seagull that had been killed by a hawk last night at the club one of the members told us about a hawk attack on a seagull at first he actually thought it was a white pigeon never heard of seagulls being attacked as they should be able to outwit a hawk unless it was the usual sneaky attack.Got one in the house today for treatment badly ripped took it in out of the cold

Having just restarted and flying East have not seen anything like the results into the West when we raced West coast, now a club winner does not feature in the Fed result or rarely surely they are not all bad birds.As to the losses there have been a multitude of explainations but no positive answer each has own pet "excuse" maybe someday someone give us the Correct answer not "suppostitions"
