I feed Versa Laga energy plus all year round , I raced on it , rear on it, and do not ever change it, just add slight about 20% barley in november and december, thats it, no secret but at £15.35 a 18 kg bag it is not cheap. but then the best never is. keep less pigeons and then feed better corn...... is the answer

I usually use a sanner to tighten things up les, ;D Bareley is good at certain times, you can hopper feed it without risking the birds getting fat

Ben , the best thing to do is take your time, training is not all about getting them fit, its about confidence and putting your candidates in the strongest and best frame of mind, you see they have had a confidence knock now, so some short tosses to reasure them is better than entering them into the race, once confidence is restored from one point of training , then move them to another a bit further, then your birds will feel confident in every aspect they need to be. hope this helps bud. spencer

Hi Chrisss and Harky, How do you know if my pigeons are not already in one loft races? actually I will be totally honest, they are not, but am looking into that side of things , as i have stated on my website, i am not a dealer, i do not care one bit if nobody buys a pigeon from me, if you got to know me and visited me as some on here have, then this would be known to you. I think breeders or sellers should have their birds tested, but my birds have won for 95% of the people who buy them, but for their own reasons i do not have their permission to quote their names. which i totally respect as i do your views. Nobody has to buy from me, that is a fact. I enjoy the meuleman pigeons for what they are , top quality !! i have all the enjoyment i need, regardless of who or what people think. I have other interests outside pigeons and enjoy these to, so i do not depend on it for a living as i work full time, more than some on this site. I am happy with my birds, if someone want to win races then buy whatever you feel can do this for you, wether it costs £10 or £500 !! I know I have bought the best to achieve an objective, ask around and see if you can win top races with rubbish. spencer PS. The Hammer does not fall on my pigeons , neither the quality of them!!

depends what price you put on quality Tammy and winning more than 2 races per year !!
