Hi Phil i bought 13 from his first sale in Manchester, one never made up as i would of liked (they were all very late bred) so i now have 12t.

Your not wrong there Steve lol and its got a trip to Dublin to look forward to on the weekend.

These two are direct Poortvliets that i had in his first sale, they have turned out nice pigeons, the first one bred a 13th National Lillers this year.

I had some in the late 70,s Jos & La Marvellous lines this pair were Janssen x Stichlebout lines the one cock was outstanding won to 3 different lofts bred winners from 50 to 450 miles. it was this family that made my mind up to buy my Janssen and Stichlebout birds. The mother of the Pest also had Fauconnier lines to Blaue Barcelona line i had good success with these as well. Jones Bros tredegar flew well with them also and in my opinion some of the best birds Spence & Nichols flew were the Fauconiers. Cant fault them great cross with the Janssen birds.

Arnold just told me that he has been told officially that Davies & Coombes are 1st East Sec 1st Open A & K Davies are 1st Center Sec 2nd open.

Spoke to Arnold (A & K Davies) at about 4 o,clock he had had 10 out of 13.

Myself my cousin and two mate,s have all had trouble buying old stock birds, 5 to 6 yr old stock priced from £300 to £1350 each. Out of 6 birds 3 only layed or filled 1 egg 3 did,nt fill at all. To me it,s not worth the hassle then as you get a replacement that you don't really wont and 1 replacement also failed to fill so i put it in the bin rather than return it for them to check that it was infertile. And go through it all again so i wont buy any more of there older stock bird,s in the future. Not knocking them this is just our experience and 3 friends of buying there retired stock birds.

Your dead right there thats for sure i bought a Comb Verbree Cock the sire was bred by Wilem De Bruijn & the Dam by G & S Verkerk , i have also got direct Van Der Rhee pigions with Verkerk Parents and direct Verkerk pigions with Wilem De Bruijn parents.

I have known John for the last couple of years, he is straight to the point and an excellent fancier with excellent birds as the above performances prove. He also owns the G Parents of the 2009 NFC Saints National winner. So no matter what he puts up i shall be keeping my eye on it. His performance in the 3 Counties Combine this year was outstanding to say the least!!!

These are two children of the Tape Ring Pair Blue Cock "38" 5 x 1st many other prizes & Cheq Hen "Fed Hen" 1st Fed as y/b then bred 1st Open BBC Nantes. They were fantastic crossed with our Janssen pigeons.

Some of the best one,s i seen were when i visited Hudson & Lowes in early 90's and thats why when they sold up i bought from them. I also bought 2 hens on my first visit.
