Terry Broken Legs was a Cheq Janssen Hen line 019
-
Simple answer to that question John!!! Its because they are the WNRF and i cant remember it any different to be honest.
-
South East route is a totally different from East to West the birds have a far less chance of cutting across Feds, i think people mix the two up and they are poles apart. The BICC route over the channel is a perfect compromise for the East to West & South Feds to race from not to mention the opportunity to compete against all Welsh Feds liberating together.
-
Your right there the RVF have not had a good race by a long way, on saying that the North road let go yesterday at 6.30 from i think beeston and that was worse than any of the libs today.
-
I have only got a couple of the the above crosses that i mentioned above at the moment sorry!!!
-
Our Van Loon have always held there own up to 1st National level, real good pigeons and a great cross with Janssen, Meuliman & Klak pigeons
-
I dont know but the funny thing about it is where we live not many mobiles ever work, most people lose there phone signal within a mile of our place.
-
Yes your right there Al its a pity they would,nt get lost lol.

Nothing wrong with Colloidal Silver its been around a lot longer than even Bilco, i use it never had ybs, i also know a friend who made my generator for me he never had it either but again that may just be a coincidence but as they say if its not broke don't mend it. As regard K index aint got a clue but have for the last 3 or 4 years since being on wireless connection noticed whenever you constantly keep losing connection. The training & racing on these days has been horrendous, you can be sure that the muggy weather or thunder is going to arrive if not evident at the time. Told a friend about it last year he missed the toss his mate who had a disaster as weather deteriorated went really heavy no wild birds in the sky then thunder could be heard in the distance.

I also have birds with friends rings on as i also run out of rings most years,I cant really see a problem with the sale as such. But as i said if he checked the rings with the union since he is not sure which ones he had from people he would know which birds are from which fancier as this seems to be the mix up simple really.
-
If he has lost all the details perhaps it would be a good idea if he phones the Union to check on each of the birds ownership if they have not been transferred. At least then he will know who has bred them , none of my business just an idea.

George you can buy a tidy pigeon for that lol, i reckon if i had that running round the garden a Goshawk would take it lol.

Here is the pic of the Cock i promised to post This is one of the last cock,s that i bred from the cock i had on loan from Bob Lee, he was a full brother to Dinmore Lass 3rd National Thurso. (he is also the G Sire of the 2008 Queens Cup Winner) for Preece Bros & Sons His dam was bred by A & K Davies direct from two 2nd open WGNFC winners The cock Being Double Top 2nd National Thurso the hen was bred from a cock that was 5th National Thurso for A & K Davies the mother being the famous Dinmore Lass herself 3rd National Thurso. Super family of pigeons took this pic tonight he is 9yrs old.

Probably the best pigeon Van Der Flaes had was the Blauwe Van Lier he was a Blue Cock with 20 x 1st and the G Sire of the Vos De Bijter, who in turn was the G Sire of Old 05. Like a lot of the Ace Janssen pigeons Blauwe Van Lier was a G son of the Blauwe of 48 & Bange of 51. Whether fanciers cultivated the Reds, Blues, or Lt Cheq,s there are literally 100,s of the Ace Janssen pigeons that come through these original old Janssen lines.
-
Yes Al that,s the one if i get a chance i will post a couple of pics, Alan Reed of Blackwood also has a fantastic team of them as well.

The first 6 that Bob & Grahame had were a mix of 2 George Josephs, 1 Daenehan x Verheye and i believe the other 3 were Daenehans, the Blues in the family were the Josephs these are where the 600 milers came through. In fact the No 1 pair was the Daehnean x Verheye Cock mated to the Joseph hen, No 2 pair was a Daehnean Cock (old Dark one) mated to a dtr of No1 pair. Brilliant family of pigeons some of the original ones from belgium also had a bit of Stichlebout in them as well as Desmet Mathys pigeons never the less brilliant pigeons. A son of the No 1 pair bred the Preece Bros One leg. Super breeder bred the Queens Cup Winner last year Bob lent me One legs father in fact he ended his days here and the first son i bred from him bred me my 4th in the Scottish 1 loft race when 4 birds dropped together i was last lol,, Preece Bros also had a Super Daenehan cock called Mullberry he came from Jeff Davies who had his from Louella in 70,s. Hope this is some help to you.

Hi Jimmy he certainly looks the part, very nice in the hand as well. What more cane you ask for in a 1st Combine winner.
-
Could you tell me if the Jonge Mickey & Mickey Boy are bred down from the Mickey Zoontjen pigeon of H & O. Thanks
-
Sorry to hear that our condolences to Gail, Tudor & Family, May he RIP. Alun & Marilyn

I reckon the Welsh Feds flying East to West & South Road should put there differences behind them and make a compromise (God forbid one of the organisations having to give in and agree to go with the other,s route) and fly the South East Route similar to the BICC i have noticed for many years that in general they seem to have some excellent returns on this route. Be nice to see some tidy birdage in the Nationals again. Thats not taking anything from the winners they still have to fly it but with over 30 Nationals a year in Wales i think it would be a lot better to get back to about 5 National Races with all welsh organisations involved.
-
The RV Fed seem to have had a very good race today, well the people i spoke to did 100% returns batches of 3 & 4 dropping together.
-
Thanks Paul thats why i asked as i thought it looked like section birdage.
-
Paul do you mean 14 in the Section as that birdage looks well down for it to be the Fed.
-
My friend Kieth phoned from tonypandy he had 20/20 with the RVF havent heared about the race in general though.
-
Terrible hope you get some more back, i know only to well the fright that these attacks on y/bs cause. Seen it happen dozens of times here to my own and batches going past. Trouble is these days with the Goshawks in the forests when the poor little buggers head for cover from the falcon attacks they are picked off in the trees by the Goshawks.
