i dont race young birds as a rule and the majority of my youngsters are early july bred 32 of them, been doing this for about 6 years now and it works for me and have trained them up to around 100 miles ( fife ) only dropped 5 , they will get one 30 mile training toss a few days before racing starts and they will all go as far as 300 to 360 miles, hasnt affected my results any infact my fed winners over the past couple of years are late bred youngsters (july) , but i doesnt always work for some but does for me, last traing toss was in mid november john

was going to pair up my 7 pairs of stock birds yesterday but had a cat scare the living daylights out of the cocks n they so far have not moved from the house roof, best laid plans eh ?? john
