I think Tinto Goldmine's highest finish was 5th Open. Either way it's a case of great pigeons in the hands of great pigeon men Aye there's not many who have been able to sustain that kinnae level of success for all these years

I maybe went a bit over the score with this one It's Napper and Lane's 'Combine Cock' he had a string of UNC positions as long as you arm and was a grandson of their 'Cotton Reeler' 11th UNC Bourges(562 miles) and 17th UNC Nantes (530 miles) on one side and his dam was an inbred granddaughter to the Rutter Bros '£1000 Hen' 4th,7th,9th,9th,11th,16th UNC-6 times a Bourges winner. These are the doos !!

Only bird on the day, 1st North Sect, 11th open Rennes. 663miles - 17hours 40 minutes on wing, also 1st CC,2nd IFC, 9th Fed Avanches, 624 miles17 hours 25 mins flying time; Violet Eyes, 1st Palamos into Scotland 1113miles; Producer, the brilliant stock cock, and the fantastic Steptoe Hen. My main distance performances connected to my four foundation pigeons are: Sir Lancelot, 1st Scotland from Rome, 1260mls. British and European Long Distance record holder. A grandson of Steptoe Hen and Black Rocket, a great grandson of Producer and Steptoe Hen. Young Violet, 1st Perpignan into Scotland,1058 miles Perfection, 1st Palamos into Scotland,1113 miles." It's a super line of birds Wellbank Princess was no slouch either 1st Reg,5th open SNRPC Portsmouth 2007 1st Reg,3rd open SNRPC Arras 2008 26th Reg,71st open SNRPC Wanstead Flats 2008 12th Reg,42nd open SNRPC Reims 2009 8th Reg,26th open SNRPC Lillers 2009 her dam was 25th open SNFC La Ferte Bernard 2004 (16 and a half hours on the wing) shes is full of the best lines; the 4th Open Sartilly,two Gold Award winners, the Nantes hen etc.
