As the birds quite obviously flew a relatively straight line today I tried to scub the break point but the majority of members insisted it remained. It makes our velocities rather high compared to reality so I have entered the Fed velocities after the ring numbers. Note to James Reid of Buckie - my first bird is from the white doos you got from Fergie Philips of Nairn, it maybe worth your while giving him a ring to see which ones were the parents. Yes she is and has raced well. I gave her the Epsom salts and massaged it around the inside of her crop. All that came out was cloudy liquid and GRASS! I did this twice then put her in a nest box with Homoform which she got stuck into, she's starving. She has silver and elderberry in her water and was gagging for a drink after eating. Will wait and watch.

She'll get Epsom salts to empty her crop then colloidal silver and elderberry juice and see how she gets on. I don't think there is any cancer as there is no smell from the mouth but I will give her a tab just to be on the safe side. Thanks all for your interest and ideas, I will keep you posted on outcome. Can anyone help. I have a 7 year old hen who has lost weight, has a spongy crop and runny muck. She looked like she was eating today but when I picked her up there was no feed in her crop, it just felt spongy? Any ideas?

You need to strike off the race then when given the option, print one copy. Some times it takes a couple of try's . If that does not work, go into members clocks and delete the clock. Add the clock again, you get a warning that all information on the clock will be deleted. After clock is added, sync with PC and you get all your information back on the clock. When adding clock, if the PC says it can't find it, just as ok or cancel (I can't mind which) and click search again, it usually works the second time. If not type the clock serial number in and it will work. Hope this helps, Jim.

Look at their website for their number and give them a ring. They will deliver into Scotland if you take 50 bags. They are very cheap but maybe not as cheap as the website says. Last time I ordered the fellow on the phone said that the website had not been updated for a while. Was still a good price though delivered into Inverness and on time.

Only one member put birds. Paul Thomson sent three with two returning to Forres in race time. The second bird was hawked. Well done Paul, your the only one left in the averages now!

Nought wrong with being Irish.

The original cock I got from him was out of Colin's Boy from Colin Bain. A cracker but broke his neck during a sparrow hawk attack. He rests under the garden grass now.

I have Robert Cormack birds which are the base of my loft. I got them from his packing up sale and another 6 a couple of years later. I think he has no birds now. I can pm you his number if you want. The man's one of the real gentleman of the sport, a real nice guy. The last year he raced he won (I think it was called) the Scottish Central Combine With Lyrona Dainty 3.

I think they will breed pigeons. Probably start off as eggs, 2 at a time.

I took mine training a couple of years ago but fog was coming in so brought them back to about four miles from home at about 18:00. As soon as I let them out fog dropped round me like a curtain. I only had about four home by nightfall. It was nice and sunny in the morning and they were all waiting for breakfast when I got up. I hope your as lucky as I was.
