  1. Hey Spin, He's Unikon's No 1 agent. 8)
  2. Sorry to hear the pain you are going through. Now then lad's and lassies, how about we help one of our own, surely we can raise a few quid between us to give Paul, no doubt he could do with a bit extra if he is not working, might even be enough for Paul and his family to have a break/holiday somewhere. Late bred's or donation. What are peoples thoughts ?

Could someone PM his telephone number please. Nick
  7. Not good, have another look first thing in morning, so many different things happen during the day, those might be droppings from a young bird thats just come from a trainer, the timber underneath looks like you have a problem with cocci though, you always get a better idea first thing in morning though.
  8. I'll second that Tony C, never heard so much ---- in the time I have been on here, eight recent National winners in our club, we all get a touch of it, year after year, no one's had the full blown sickness since 1997 though, now we seem to get young birds holding the corn for 24 hrs, still buggers a week up though.

  11. Here, ere, Owen, once some of you start loosing birds to hawks etc, mark my words, you ill at ome point, I used to think to myself, whats all the fuss about, its a nightmare when they constantly upset the harmony in the loft, the stress this causes the birds and us is not something I would wish on anyone.
  12. Good write up, enjoyed that, well done to all.
  13. Yes it shows the birds are in good health, however, they are out of control.

One found dead on the transporter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Half rations after all that work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, if they fly like that after a chuck, I would not bother putting them in a trainer, fly from loft, you are making hard work for your self taking them training, if you want to carry on training/educating, give them a loft fly before the trainer, let them burn a bit of energy off first.

  23. Skull, not easy to get over (explain) the birds that return showing signs of effort, pigeons that are keen to enter loft, birds that show signs of giving all the enegy to get home fast, these same birds need to recover quickly also, birds that look dull & tired need keeping an eye on, spend a bit of time watching them, you will get to know when they are tired or bubbling, they show you in many different ways, once you know them as individuals it gets easier.
  24. Hi Chris, Wish you and your Dad some luck. Be Lucky.
  25. Chris, This answer will get a few moans & groans, if he wants to be very succesfull, I would recommend 120 ybs, only 10 % of these will be any good (thats being generous) 12 good pigeons, half the 12, 6 cocks, 6 hens, not many good pigeons to start back with is it !!!!
