Don't cheat by turning the light on, make sure the birds are not over weight when handling in the dark !!!!!!!! Another one, starve them for 3-4 days, any showing any stress & lack of constitution go in the bin, very hard to do. Why don't you just race the bloody things. Lol

Have brothers in the race team performed well, keep the hens that are related to the best cocks, its a start, did any show any stress when breeding, the odd wild one, check the tail and flights for frets, kill an extra one, then go back in the cocks section & find one to dispose of in there, you will have a stronger loft in the long run !!!!

I have to say, Unikon is very good, updates are a bit of a pain, however, progress is not all bad !!!!! Go and see Ronnie Williamson, you can buy kits for racing, aprox £300 - £360 for six, Ronnie has the best pigeons in your neck of the woods, dont forget this, good pigeons are cheap, its the bad ones that are expensive !!!!!!!!! Good luck, hope all goes well.
