  1. You pay attention to the birds for long enough, they will tell you, you must always send the first ones back (form pigeons) from the previos race, the last one's home may have a rest for 1/2/3 weeks or go in the bin.
  2. Where can I find Mick Mccormicks results ?
  3. 15 pair for Mick Mc Cormick (Spelling ?)
  4. Would I be right in thinking he's been on the fed sheet every week ? Is he a big team man ? I know you need a bigger team to allowfor losses from BOP.
  5. Not knowing too many up that way, who'sthe wee man from Uddington ?
  6. Yes old buddy, totally different set up to chat, this site is going to take a bit of getting used toooooooooo.
  7. They should have learnt the area from loft flying, basket home, no excuses, if birds do not head for home straight away, something is not right, if they are not exercising for more than an hour from loft flys, we would not even consider traning, I personally think many commercial mixes are too heavy for young birds, you only get one chance to educate ybs, its your job to make them athletes & not homers.

How long should my ybs birds take from 25 mile chuck or something simular !!!!!!!!
  10. However, I can never bloody find anything on here, I posted on a topic this morning, I can not find it now, why do you keep moving things, or is it me, the topic was from newbie2020 (I think)
  11. Newbie 2020, You are now educating your future race team, out the basket & straight home, to do this they need a bit of encouragement, you need to keep them a bit tighter on the food untill they do what you want them to do, when you have got them doing a mile minute in any wind on the short tosses, move them on a bit, make sure they always have a nice treat waitng in the hopper for there hard work, only a couple of handfulls (red band or crushed peanuts) give them ten minutes to cool down & feed your normal young bird mix, don't train in the hottest part of the day.
  12. Hope you have a good response.
  13. Blythy, How do they race for you ?
  14. Thank you.
  15. It takes a man to say sorry, guess I won't be getting an apoligy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Pardon Roland, did you mutter something !!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. That's not my article you plonker, why don't you read all the threads, then come back and say sorry !!!!!!
  18. No, read the topic heading !!!!!!!!!!! How do you spell red backwards ?
  19. When we fly from Lerwick back to Norwich, our birds in a west wind will only go over approx 60 miles of land, we don't need any houses to stop on though !!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. How Les Parkinson can let this dribble go on his site is unbelievable, very childish attitude, I bet White Feather still lives with his parents & bats the other way.
  21. NORFOLK & SUFFOLK with Trevor (White Feather) Harris Well, what’s happening? Serious racing has not started up yet when we get the longer races across the channel - the 400, 500, 600 mile races. I would like to highlight across the channel not some little river, stream or duck pond water, as many fanciers racing north will only have to face. There are no houses, trees or other buildings for pigeons to land on to take a rest if they are tired so a 400 mile race on the north rd is a lot easier than a 400 mile race on the south and that is a fact. Club or National racing Well if someone wins a 55 mile race out of 100 pigeons and someone comes 1000th or even 8000th out of 8000 pigeons in a National race who is the best flyer? The Easter Bunny tells me it is the fancier who wins the 55 mile club race. Well the Easter Bunny is not in the real world nor are a lot of fanciers, so come on chaps do more National racing and compete against the best or do you still want to carry on winning all these short club races and think you are the best? Wha utter rubbish.
  22. Alright Alf, I don't know mate, I was looking for a post I had spent a bit of time on, trying to help someone out, anyway, left the computer for perhaps 6 hours, went back on, all my hard work had gone, anyway, the rest is history, I blew my top & so did they, lost all my toy's out the pram, chucked them to far this time. You take care old buddie. Nick
